Use this checklist to ensure a smooth game day experience for your ScoreVision system. Planning ahead will allow you to enhance the game day experience for players, coaches, and fans alike.
THREE DAYS BEFORE THE GAME
- If the team's schedule hasn't been previously uploaded to ScoreVision Cloud already, create the game
- Enter roster and player photos (optional)
- Ensure that all game day media (ads, hype videos, etc.) has been created
- Upload media to the ScoreVision Cloud and assign media according to how you'd like it to be played (Automated Sequence, On-Demand Collection, or On-Demand Playlist)
- TEST your automated sequences and on-demand collections!
ONE DAY BEFORE THE GAME
- Ensure that iPads are charged
- Ensure that Producer and Scorekeeper apps are updated to newest edition (also, ensure that your iPad does not have any pending iOs updates)
- Ensure Wi-Fi is set to your specific ScoreVision Wi-Fi ID
- Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on
- Ensure all hardwire connections (plugging iPad into ethernet and power at the scorer's table) are in working order
- Ensure that displays look and sound correct (colors, PA volume, etc.)
- TEST your automated sequences and on-demand collections again!
GAME DAY!
- Double check that you have everything of the following uploaded and up-to-date in the ScoreVision Cloud:
- Rosters
- Automated Sequences
- On-Demand Collections
- Double check the following on your iPads:
- Battery is fully charged
- All ScoreVision apps are updated
- iOS system is updated
- Wi-Fi connected to ScoreVision network
- Bluetooth on
- TEST one more time! NOTE: All last minute changes should be made a minimum of 2 hours prior to starting your pregame clock to ensure a smooth experience
ONE HOUR BEFORE THE GAME
- ScoreVision displays turned on
- Start Pre-Game clock
- Enter roster (either through the ScoreVision Cloud or directly on the Scorekeeper app) for the away team
