Handheld Controller Instructions

This guide will instruct you how to use the handheld controllers for your ScoreVision system.

For each ScoreVision handheld controller, connect the end of its cable to an available ethernet port at the Scorer's Table. These ports should be connected to cable runs that route back to the ScoreVision Precision Control Unit (PCU) that communicates with and operates the clocks.

Use the illustration and descriptions below for learning how to use the Shot Clock and Game Clock Controllers.

Shot Toggle

The shot toggle has two states: RUN and DON’T RUN. It will only operate in RUN state which is indicated when the light in the toggle switch is illuminated. In this state, the shot clock locks with the game clock, only running when the game clock is running.

R1 & R2 Buttons

These button allow the user to quickly reset the shot clock to predetermined time settings. Each button can have its own custom time setting, programmed in the ScoreVision Cloud.

Recall Button

The Recall button allow the user to quickly reset the clock to whatever it was the last time a reset was triggered.

Game Toggle

The game toggle controls the game clock. In the “ON” mode where the light in the toggle switch is illuminated, the game clock will run. In the “OFF” mode, the game clocks will stop.

Horn Button

The horn button simply sounds the horn on press. The horn continues to sound until the button is depressed.

Status Indicator

Look for a green light to know that that the handheld controller is powered and actively connected to the system. A blue light indicates that the handheld has power but is not communicating with the Precision Control Unit that operates the clocks.
