This article explains how to display On-Demand content using the ScoreVision Producer App.
On-Demand Collections are groupings of media that get pushed from your organization in the ScoreVision Cloud to the Producer App. Each media item in a Collection can be triggered at any time during a game. These media items can be played one at a time and will appear in designated, premium spaces on your display.
Display On-Demand Content
1. On the Content Bar in the middle of the Producer app, press the name of the collection you wish to open.
2. Touch the thumbnail image of the piece of media you wish to display. Toggle the controls for LOOP and MUTE to on or off as you wish. Note: To close this piece of media and view the collection again, touch the triangle button in the lower left corner.
3. Select the layout you wish to be utilized while displaying this media. The layout at the top indicates what layout is currently being displayed. The layout in the media panel toward the bottom of your dashboard indicates the layout that will be used when you press PLAY NOW.
If your current layout is different than the layout you are choosing for your on-demand media, a checkbox will appear to the right of the PLAY NOW button. Touch to place a checkmark in this box if you want the layout to automatically switch while your On-Demand media is playing and then automatically return to the previous layout when content finishes.
In the example above, when you press PLAY NOW, the display will change from the Scoreboard layout to the Video Scoreboard layout (and display the OnFire Quix for six seconds) and finally return to the Scoreboard layout.
Cancel On-Demand Content
There may come a time when you wish to stop a piece of On-Demand media from playing. There are a few different ways to do so.
1. Pressing the stop button will cancel the playing of your current media. If you turned the LOOP toggle on before pressing PLAY NOW, that piece of media will continuously show on your display(s) until you press the stop button to the left of the preview window. That button will also stop media playing that was for a set duration (not exclusively for looped media).
2. Another way to cancel the On-Demand Content playing is to change the current layout. When you touch a different layout on the layout bar near the top of the dashboard, the On-Demand Content will be interrupted and the display will change to show your newly selected layout.
In the example above, the flag media is playing in Fullscreen layout. Pressing any of the layouts in the layouts section of the dashboard with force the display to change and remove the flag media from being shown on your display.
