Best Practices

Using SV Capture will elevate your game or event experience. Here are some examples of which mode to use and for what purpose.

Moments Mode:

These ten-second clips intended to capture unpredictable moments. Your clip will use 7 seconds leading up to the press of the capture button and 3 seconds after. Examples of use:

  • three-point shots, steals, or half-court buzzer beaters in basketball
  • ace serves, big blocks, or spikes in volleyball
  • long pass completion, a sack, or touchdown in football
  • impressive saves or goals in soccer
  • a double play, home run, or diving catch in baseball/softball

PlayAction Mode:

These two-minute or less clips are intended to capture action that you can predict. Your clip will start with the touch of the capture button and stop when you press the button again or a full two minutes has passed. Examples of use:

  • announcing a starting line-up
  • cheer team routine during a time-out or halftime
  • ceremonial first pitch or 7th inning stretch
  • special dedications or announcements such as homecoming court, honoring Veterans, a sponsor donation ceremony
  • singing/playing of the National Anthem

LiveCam Option:

This mode uses Apple TV to show a live camera view on your display. Examples of use:

  • live display of pregame events on the court or field
  • announcing a starting lineup
  • performances from the band, dance team, cheer team
  • halftime entertainment and celebrations
  • scanning the crowd and displaying on the board
  • a postgame interview on the court or field with the coach or players
